ENGIE and partners have secured additional funding to implement the Zero Emission Valley Hydrogen project.

The Environment and Energy Management Agency has provided €14.4 million for the deployment of hydrogen distribution stations.

Two-thirds of the funding will support the installation of hydrogen distribution stations and electrolysers to produce hydrogen from electricity and water. The remaining third will be used to acquire an additional 200 hydrogen vehicles.

ENGIE, the Auvergne-Rh?ne-Alpes Region, Michelin, the Bank of Territories and Cr?dit Agricole plan to put 1000 hydrogen vehicles into circulation and 20 hydrogen distribution stations.
